Matera, new lighting for a timeless heritage
Matera, Italy
Matera, the City of Stones, has been transformed with Neri’s SN100C LED luminaires, part of an ambitious energy upgrade by City Green Light S.r.l. in 2024. The switch from yellow sodium lamps to clear, warm LED lighting has enhanced the city’s beauty, highlighting spaces once lost in darkness and creating a more welcoming atmosphere. By day, SN100C blends seamlessly with the warm tones of Matera’s ancient stone, while by night, it illuminates the historic landscape with clarity and elegance. From the alleys to the grand cathedral, Neri’s lighting brings out the charm of this UNESCO World Heritage Site like never before.

Brindisi Shines with New Light
Brindisi, ITA
Brindisi, an ancient city and one of the largest natural ports in the Mediterranean, has always been known as a meeting point between history and modernity. Today, thanks to an ambitious project by City Green Light, its charm shines in a new light. The historic 1850 Neri lanterns, mounted on cast iron lamp posts and brackets, have been updated with LED technology, while 350 Light 100 units have been installed in narrower alleys. The heart of the city, from Cathedral Square to the avenues leading to the port, has taken on a new look, transforming it into an elegant open-air living room.
